To maintain constant contact and support the 33,000 mayors in carrying out their mandate, the National Gendarmerie and the Association of French Mayors have created the mobile application GEND’ELUS.

Accessible to mayors, deputies, and municipal councilors, it provides legal basics and enhances their understanding of gendarmerie’s online services and programs.

In practice, GEND’ELUS enables the sharing of information, such as the directory of brigades, reflex sheets, prevention news, managing incivilities, and a section dedicated to environmental issues.
